Will my family be able to breathe if something falls on my Armored Closet tornado shelter?
Thanks to our exclusive Vent - Shield, located at the top of the steel entry door, your Armored Closet will be protected from wind debris. The Vent - Shield is welded to the interior side of the shelter door on the other side of the door vent slots.
Is Keyless Entry an option for my Armored Closet?
We are proud to offer a variety of different features in The Armored Closet. Your Armored Closet can be outfitted with an Optional Electronic Door Lever. Adding keyless, digital entry adds another layer of security to your Armored Closet.
Can I add a FIRE-SAFE to my Armored Closet?
In addition to many of our other add - on features, we are happy to offer a FIRE - SAFE Vault to our listed of optional features. The SentrySafe FIRE-SAFE offers 1-hour of UL classified fire protection and is also ETL verified for 1-hour of fire protection for CDs, DVDs, memory sticks and USB drives.
These vaults are secured into the Armored Closet with four grade 8 bolts fastened to the back side of the unit with a bracket. All safes come protected with a custom security code.
Can my Armored Closet come with a built in gun safe?
In addition to a host of other optional add - ons, it would be our pleasure to equip your Armored Closet with a Winchester 10 - Gun Safe. This gun safe is designed to accommodate the Winchester 10 - Gun model. The safe features 9.3 cubic feet of safe storage to hold 10 long guns.
Weighing in at 200 pounds, the safe has six locking bolts, with security on both sides of the door. All of the safes we feature are made in Fort Worth, Texas.

To test The Armored Closet, we fired a semi - automatic handgun with 45 caliber and 9mm bullets at a 3/16 inch metal plate in a test chamber.
What were the results of the 45 Cal. Ballistic Test on Armored Closet?
Tested against a 45 caliber semi-automatic handgun/brass/full metal jacket round fired at point blank range (distance of 4 feet). The bullet produced a 1/16 inch impression and bent the test plate 1/4 inch steel armor door with no penetration. Bullet shattered and flattened.
What were the results of the 9mm Ballistic Test on Armored Closet?
Tested against a 9mm semi-automatic handgun using a 124 gr / brass / full metal jacket round fired at point blank range (distance of 4 feet). Produced a 1/64 inch impression and zero penetration. Bullet shattered and flattened.
